Chipps the Clown Cat

Meet Chipps the Clown Cat, he didn’t have the best start in life as he became a lone stray cat very early on, unsure of what happened to his mother and siblings. He found himself living on a big open field, surrounded by a luscious woodland, perfect for adventuring and foraging. Luckily for Chipps, the field in which he resides is often used for carnivals, fairs and travelling circuses so he's never short on leftovers. He would always watch from afar, longing for a loving home, a family, however, if anyone spotted him, they would often shoo him away, thinking he was dirty and feral, so he gave up on this childish and unrealistic dream, that was until one day, when he was eating some leftover chips he had found from the carnival that had left a day or two prior, a little girl name Lily approached him slowly, her eyes flooding with awe, grinning from ear to ear, he could feel the warmth radiating off of her. She swooped him up and he instantly melted into her arms, feeling emotions he’d never felt before; safety, love, warmth and trust and they have been inseparable since. It turned out her parents own a travelling circus that had just arrived in town, her parents were almost as heart filled when they saw him as Lily was, they asked “Where did you find him?”, Lily replied “He was just over there eating some chips! Please can we keep him! Pleaseeee!”, “Well you’ll have to name him first” “I shall name you, hmm… Chipps!” and he was an instant addition to the family. Lily began teaching Chipps all sorts of tricks and even made him his own costume and he quickly became a fan favourite.
